Job Overview:
·
This Program Manager I position will be planning, directing and
coordinating activities pertaining to the implementation of the Marketing,
Sales and Service programs of the Client’s CRM strategy. This includes
both technology and divisional Business Unit adoption on an enterprise level.
The position ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with
Business Unit objectives, and is responsible for managing the team that
develops and carries out CRM related projects. Additionally, the successful candidate
is familiar with and monitors all major project activities, ensuring the
currency, quality and integrity of the information, while providing consistency
in content across the enterprise. Manages a dynamic team of individuals who
constantly search for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of CRM
technology systems to meet business needs and create a competitive advantage.

This position manages complex, strategic projects that span
organizational boundaries that involve external vendors and multiple divisions
or business areas. This position will have dotted-line reporting relationships
and must be able to negotiate with others to meet program objectives.
·
Accountable for day-to-day management to meet the program’s goals and
objectives (success metrics) including delivery of the project on time, on
budget and with expected benefits (ROI, etc.).
·
Consult with the CRM Governance Structure (management, operating and
steering committees) and review project proposals to determine goals, time
frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing
requirements and allotment of resources.
·
Keep close contact with CRM Business Owners to ensure technologies are
providing valuable capabilities to the BU’s.
·
Direct accountability for planning, executing, monitoring and
controlling the program's work efforts including financial, resource and
benefits management.
·
Directly manages the efforts of divisional PMO project management staff
in support of all project management activities in compliance with EPMO
standards and guidelines.
·
Manages the recruitment, on-boarding, professional development and
performance evaluation of assigned PM and PM support staff and ensures compliance
with enterprise PM methodologies and standards and other regulatory
requirements in collaboration with the EPMO.
·
Ensures the quality of program and subordinate project-related data that
is fed into enterprise-wide systems and reports.
·
Plays a key role in the overall planning, data reporting and analysis of
program related work efforts
·
Works with EPMO and divisional management in:
·
Scoping potential projects and preparing them to enter the project
pipeline.
·
Monitoring and reporting project resource capacity and demand
·
Partners with assigned EPMO Manager and other DPMO Managers to develop
and drive adoption of enterprise wide project management tools, processes and
standards to continually enhance enterprise project management maturity.
·
Partners with EPMO and other DPMO and Program Managers to drive project
management capabilities through the use of project management technology
solutions, inclusive of minimum standards of data and information capture.
·
Manages program staff to ensure overall client satisfaction and
appropriate level of service delivery.
·
Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the
project life cycle.
·
Plan team resource needs; allocate, supervise and review work.
·
Communicate plans, status and issues to higher levels of management.
·
Lead the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality
deliverables supporting business needs.
·

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required
·
Ten (10) years of experience with Project Management
·
Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management
·
Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing an operational budget
·
Management Consulting experience (preferred)
·
Five years of progressive broad-based CRM implementation experience
across sales and service; highly desirable to have experience in Siebel and SAS
implementations
Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:
·
PMI's Program Manager certification (preferred)
·
PMI's Project Management certification (required)
Knowledge:
·
Prefer knowledge of health insurance industry.
·
Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, tools & practices
·
Thorough knowledge of project management principles and practices.
·
Strong knowledge in the use and application of project controls systems
and tools.
·
Understanding of the use and application of business information and
reporting systems.

Solid understanding of Siebel/Oracle technologies

requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies,
release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment
management
·
Strong analysis, design and implementation experience with CRM
technologies
·
Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
·
Technical proficiency in hardware and systems software, as well as
experience implementing CRM packages and working with Systems Integrator
vendors
·
Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, as well as documenting them
and presenting/selling them to senior management
·
Strong knowledge and understanding of Business Unit needs, with the
ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
·
Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
·
Ability to communicate needs and schedules to IT and clients, as well as
ensure that plans are in place and standards are adhered to

Ability to develop and deliver CRM projects
